The marriage isn't available to view online which means it wasn't solemnised at an Anglican church, so it was at another denomination, synagogue, Friends Meeting House or the register office.

You may have a long wait.

William Darcy Cole married Elizabeth Jones in 1876
after Mary Ann Plimmer died in 1871

He is missing from the 1881 census in liverpool but he leaves his son William Andrew Darcy Cole reg. Shoreditch Sept qtr 1862  living with her.
