URCH in Compton Martin

I have been looking for many years for my Urch family in Laverton and got stuck with the parents of Thomas Urch b 1781 compton martin married sarah mizen b 1896.

I think his parents MAYBE  Samuel Urch b1756 compton martin and sarah bailey b1756c compton martin.  They married 6 June 1776 t Michaels Archangel, compton martin.  I think I found years ago 2 other children born to samuel and sarah but never thomas who would have been first born??

Any information on the Urch family in Compton Martin would be very much appreciated, what work they would have done etc etc.

I've tracked back my relatives to Thomas URCH and Sarah MIZEN in Laverton aswell. Then I get stuck as all of the online data runs out.

What are your sources for Samuel URCH and Sarah BAILEY?

Also from 1841 census data that states that Thomas URCH is 45. So he appears to be born in c.1796. I think I have the correct Thomas URCH(he is married to Sarah in the same parish).

Do you have a birth certificate for the Thomas URCH that married Sarah MIZEN? If so it would be good to hear about it.

Hi Jon,
Sorry to have taken so long to reply.

In the 1841 census - Thomas b 1796 but i think this in incorrect, as I have all the other census info and in 1851 Census  Thomas b 1781 age 69, in 1861 Census Thomas b 1781 age 80.  He died in 1869 in Camerton (I do have his death certificate in the UK somewhere.  Perhaps in the very first census he only wanted to be 1 year older than his wife instead of 12 years.  Also the 1841 were always rounded down in ages for everyone.
Dont have the birth certificate of Thomas as Birth/death/marriages only became law from 1837!!
I think I got the possible parents of Thomas from Boyd Marriage Index many many years ago, my info is in the Uk. 
I started my family history at least 25 years ago now, when you had to do everything by hand and to go to the Parish to look at registers, lots has changed since then, but I have got no further forward in all these years about Thomas parents, very frustating but I will get there in the end.

Not sure if this is any help but Urch being an uncommon name I have found baptisms of Urch family members in Huntspill BMD's 1st one I can see is a baptism Sarah Urch 2nd May 1712 dau. of Richard & Sarah. If this is any help I can take a look at the Booklets I have of Parish Registers for any more Urch family members. How far is Camerton or Laverton from Huntspill.

Thank you so much for the help.  Dont know Huntspill, but looked it up and it's 26km from Compton Martin which is where Thomas was born. 
I would love the information on Urch's from Huntspill,  because we all connect, and perhaps that is what I need to do now, to try and join up the pieces.
