I'm about to order a one name report on Hudsons in Leicestershire & I'm allowed one variant within the price. I haven't knowingly come across any of my Hudsons under another name, but names thrown up by Soundex include Hodson, Hogkins, Hodgkinson. I'd have thought Hodson was the one to go for, but I was wondering if any Hudson researchers have come across a common variant
