Burial information
« on: Tuesday 28 June 11 13:26 BST (UK) »
On one of the subscription websites there is a search facility for burials.  On searching I cam across a Thomas Andrews buried 1833 in Saffron Walden district.  His family resided in Little Sampford, which I believe comes within Saffron Walden district.

Could anybody do a look up please and let me have any information the index my hold?  In particular if it mentions and age, and a place of burial, which would help me immeasurably.

Thanks for looking.  Unfortunately not, but at least i know it's not him, and not wondering if it could be.

My man would be approx ten years older, although I know age is an guestimate at the best of times.  But I can't see that he would be actually buried in SW.  Mine would be in Sampford.

Trouble is, Thomas Andrews is not an easy name to search - too many possibilities. ::)

Many thanks.

Hi

You could request a search in the Essex burial index (link given in the guide to burials on the Essex boards) 1813-1865, for Little Sampford. The charges for searches are very reasonable.
