Programme not opening
« on: Tuesday 28 June 11 15:50 BST (UK) »
I downloaded a programme called 'Real Player'.the first time i used it to download some video files on to it prior ro burning it opened up o'k. [i didn't use the programme to burn then but just to store the files at that time.

Now however, everytime i  try to open Real Player to actually burn those files [hopefully] by the short cut logos on my monitor or my 'Start' list the little egg timer shows for a few second and then absolutely nothing.

Knowing me i'm doing something wrong--again!!!

Any ideas anyone please  :) poli

Erm - a touch of the blind leading the blind here, 'cos I'm no technocrat. Doubtless one'll be along in a minute.

Meantime you could try downloading and installing the program again in case the copy on your system has got corrupted.

Also, I have not found RealPlayer at all user-friendly. There are heaps of alternatives. If you google CNET DOWNLOAD you'll find a few from a reliable virus-free source.

Hi,
Try removing the program and re-installing.

Personally I like Burnaware free http://www.burnaware.com/ for burning cd/dvds.
