George Taylor Braunton

I am researching George Taylor. Iknow that George was born in1854ish, his father was a Gardener (according to the marriage certificate ). I have been looking at the 1861 census and there is a George Taylor, father George mother Elizabeth and several sisters. The wedding cert also states that one of the witnesses was Fanny Taylor who by the 1861 census is Georges sister. I cannot find any George Taylor with the birth place of Braunton born approx1854 in the 1871 census and I can only confirm the correct George Taylor to our family in the 1881 census where he says that he was born in Shooters Hill in Kent. Well that is a stretch of the truth as I cannot trace him back to that location. Any ideas on how to work out if George Taylor of Braunton is my rel?Jan in Oz
