They had 5 children:

Robert b. 1837 Kensington
Mary Ann b. 1840 Kensington
Edward b. 1848 Chelsea
Eliza b. 1850 Chelsea

Robert is widowed by 1871 and living in Chelsea St Luke with daughter Esther.

According to a family tree entry the maiden name of Hester was Connor.

In 1841 the family are living with a Sarah Connor in Ossulstone (Kensington Division. Middlesex. Everyone is born in the county except Robert.
