I've just found out my paternal great grandparents Thomas William Richards and Sara Lawson, were residing in "Tyrcanol" Morriston, Swansea when they got married in 1912.
I've found Morriston on Autoroute, but not Tyrcanol. Is this likely to be a village name near there or a part of Swansea or a house/farm name. Havent a clue when it comes to Welsh names!

Thomas was a tram driver, his father David Richards an Engine Driver and Sara's father, John Lawson, was a Foreman. I've tried to look for the families on the 1901 census but had no luck so far, so if anyones eyes are working better than mine, I'd be grateful for any assistance

Thanks,
Catherine
