No manner of death. Coroners claim was £1 19s 6d.

Hi Sean,

Could I ask please for a look up for the name ALDERTON please.  (The Aldertons were related to the Slatters but I would be cheeky asking for two lookups)

Finally made it to half term, so have time to reply!

28 Oct 1786 Newhaven. Alice Alderton hanged herself
13 Apr 1767 Newhaven. Thomas Alderton jn drowned

1 Feb 1764 Place Omitted Mr John Slatter accidentally by a fall from his horse
10 Apr 1811 Mountfield Thomas Slatter fell in a fit and instantly died
29 Jul 1768 Place Omitted William Slatter died of a fall

Quite a few Aldertons and Slatters appear as Jurors in the Battle area.
