Hi Datha
Thanks for the information on the Roche family from Wicklow, I wondered what we need to link the sailors to Florence Roche nee Walker. We have a marriage certificate, one of the children's birth cert and an address  they were staying. Ships they worked on Aluna and Cork. With James Roche on board ship Aluna in Liverpool 1901 census. If he is married then his wife would be on the same census with children.

Thoms 1911,1923 and 1928 show only 32 small houses. 1928 shows in addition a Mrs Cahill in Nos 24 & 25. .O'wise no names given . Apparently there was a DMP station there in 1911.
I have not got 1926 but it is most unlikely that it will show any more.
