1891 and 1901 census look up for Thomas William Peters

I am looking for the census records for Thomas William Peters born in 1862 in Paddington and in the 1881 census his occupation is listed as a Dramatic artist and lives with his Mother the widowed Emma Peters, I hope someone can help me out thank you.

As he was a dramatic artist is there  a chance he changed his name?

It looks like Thomas' father was George Jackson Peters, in which case Thomas married Emily Ball in Yarmouth, Norfolk on 9 Jan 1882.

Oh dear, found his wife & children in Marylebone in 1891 but no sign of Thomas.

By 1901 Emily was a widow and going by the surname of Conniford - her children being Vernon John Conniford Peters and Hettie Eva Conniford Peters.  1901 they were living in Paddington

Seems Thomas went under the name of Mr T P Conniford and was a member of Mr Auguste Creamer's Celtic comedy-drama company

Then there are a number of adverts, in various parts of the UK, advertising productions by Holland & Conniford's combination company.  Not sure if that's Thomas as he continues to be mentioned playing a variety of roles in provincial theatres across the country.
