1861 look ups please. SHENTON & HAWLEY**COMPLETED THANKS**
« on: Sunday 10 July 11 21:32 BST (UK) »
Could SKS please be kind enough to look up Emma SHENTON (b 1855 Cheadle) &/or John HAWLEY (b 1855 Cheadle) in the 1861 census to enable me to pin down both sets of parents + siblings.

TIA

aitch :)

- Sharon - thanks very much for this.   I just checked StaffsBMD and there seem to be two Emma Shentons born in Cheadle pretty close together, one in 1856 and one in 1857, so it's hard to know whether this one's the one I'm after.  Can I ask if there were any other Emmas showing up in the 1861?

- Dazey - thanks very much to you too.  Fortunately there's only I John Hawley showing up born in Cheadle around 1855, so he's looking very likely. :)

Much obliged to you both for the rapid response  :)

Can not see another Emma who has birth place for Cheadle. There is another Emma c.1857 birth place as Tean, parents Isaac & Mary.
