Lookup if possible please. Child born 1928 in the South Island (possibly ChCh) to Nellie Eleanor BAKER. Father Noel Cedric SCHENKEL.

You can look up the birth fiches at you nearest big library for the birth

No, I don't believe Nellie BAKER and SCHENKEL were married, does that preclude gaining birth details for their child born in 1928?

No not at all,I was wondering what name the child was registered under,the chap in #4 might be a likely candidate

Noel Joseph SCHENKEL was half brother I believe. Same father. Child could have been registered with surname BAKER I guess or even placed for adoption.
