« on: Thursday 14 July 11 14:41 BST (UK) »
Hello All
I am looking for info about the above HMS Active which was moored in Sunderland in the 1860's, I think it may have been Royal Naval Reserve Training ship, if possible would like Crew or Training ship Members.

Thanks
Allan

HMS Active (1845) was a 36-gun fifth rate launched in 1845, becoming a training ship and being renamed HMS Tyne in 1867 and HMS Durham in 1867(?). She was sold in 1908.
