Weathernoyd Woods Heaton Bradford
« on: Friday 22 July 11 18:44 BST (UK) »
I have googled and tried to find this area, and should appreciate any help.  The spelling of 'Weathernoyd ' is  open to question, but perhaps more Thornton/Allerton area than Heaton?  Many thanks

Have a look at (www) old-maps.co.uk and in the search boxes put in the co-ordinates 413372 and 435780. This should take you to Weather Royds Wood, and on the right are links to a variety of old maps where it can be seen.

Know exactly where it is now.  On the left off what I know as Cottingley Bar.  Good to know of the oldmaps link too

Many thanks for the help,

Brenda
