Harriet SARTAIN and Samuel TAYLOR m 1870
« on: Saturday 23 July 11 18:53 BST (UK) »
Samuel TAYLOR born circa 1844 married Harriet SARTAIN  or SARTIN born circa 1846 in the Trowbridge area  on 25-12-1870. They are found on the 1871 census in Staverton on the outskirts of Trowbridge, both families come from this area, but I cannot find Samuel and Harriet after the census of 1871.
I suspect they migrated. 2 of Samuels older siblings had migrated to Australia when Samuel was 11.
Do they appear in your tree?

The latest information suggests that Samuel and Harriet TAYLOR migrated to America, this information had been passed down from an elderly relative. It has yet to be substantiated.
