Hi,

This is all the info I have from the index. Although on the baptism of a William Lovell to a James & Elizabeth in Chipping Warden on 02 Sep 1783, the occupation of the Father is a Labourer.

Unfortunately the records of the day were not as detailed as from 1837 onwards. I don't know if any of our other Rootschatters have any ideas?.

Dear Richard,

I appreciate your help. I think I am stuck as there are 2 William Lovell's baptised in the same year to 2 different parents.. William lovell did name his son James so maybe that is a clue to his parentage.
