« on: Thursday 28 July 11 14:08 BST (UK) »
Please can anyone help me I am trying to find out where in London a ancestor of mine lived in London during the period 1926 to 1941.What I am hoping is that some kind person who has access to the bt phone books for London for the years 1926 to 1941 will be able to find an London address for him.
my ancestor is - george de Mauduit.
any help would be greatly appreciated - regards - Luc.

nb: I have placed a similar posting under surrey lookup requests to try and confirm two addresses that have been suggested to me as his country homes although apparently he spent most of his  time during this period at his london home.

Thanks jane rosie99 and Mort,

This information is appreciated.

I did state in the original posting i had already opened a seperate posting for Surrey and I thought that if i linked them it would cause confusion and duplication.

I still hope that some kind person will turn up an adress for my ancestor in the London bt phone books for the period of 1926 to 1941.

Thanks again for all your help it is much appreciated - regards Luc.
