Marriage of Margaret Mulligan and John William Beasant
« on: Thursday 28 July 11 22:46 BST (UK) »
Hi

I was wondering if someone could help me find out details of my great grandparents marriage.  They lived in Ely and I think the married there.  There names were John William Beasant and Margaret Mulligan.   I have searched a few websites but cant find anything.

Thank you in advance

Wow thanks suz,

Yes the Margaret is defo my great granny, sorry I did have her details and should of said.  My great grandad though Ihad no details at all.  That one looks right and makes sence as I remember being told he died just before I was born which works with that one.  I was hoping to find a marriage cert to find out his parents details as I was stuck with where to go with him.

Thank you so much you have been a great help.  I will check irish records for a marriage. They must of been in Ely by 1924 as that was when my grandad was born.

thank you again  :)

I could only find 2 birth reg's surname beasant - mother's maiden name Mulligan - they were in 1924 & 1926 - I didn't post forenames in case they were still living /recently deceased.
Were there only the 2 children of the marriage??

I wondered if they possibly married Ireland -as there are quite a few Mulligans in census who were b Ireland.
