14 Clarke Street Liverpool

Hello

My great grandad does not show up on the 1911 census, however his wife and children do, living in Upper Frederick Street, she is down as a widower and has young children (my nan and her 2 sisters).  He was a mariner, so may have been at sea.  According to his death certificate, in 1912, he was living at 14 Clarke Street, Liverpool, and his wife was present.  Is there a directory that shows who was living there in 1912?, and if so does anyone have access and could look for me please.  I have always been baffled why my gg gran said she was a widower on the 1911 census, but present at his death in 1912.

Woops I should have said 14 Clarke Street, and have amended this post accordingly, my sincere apologises to those who looked an address I incorrectly asked for.

Thank you for looking for me.  My gg granddad died in June 1912, living at 14 Clarke Street, with my gg nan present at his death, but she was supposed to be a widow in 1911 according to the census.
