My ancestors John Yeorath and Elizabeth Longe married 13-5-1725.

I have possible parents of John - Matthew (died before 1726) and Mary, but any confirmation / rebuttal / extension of this would be appreciated

Hi Pejic

I haven't delved into the YORATHs very much because they are not my blood line, but just checking you've found the following NLW wills:

1753 Will of John YORATH, Llanfair Cilgedin

1789 Bond for Elizabeth YORATH, widow, Llanfair Cilgedin and a separate 1789 bond for the above John YORATH for items left unadministered by Elizabeth his wife

1729 Bond for Robert LONG, Llanfair Cilgedin
    — brothers-in-law John and Anthony YORATH, Chas WATKINS as bondsmen

1776 Will of Margaret FARE, Llanfair Cilgedin
    — sole executor and residury legatee was Margaret YORATH, and her five sons (of the late James YORATH) were left bequests, but no relationship given

By the way, I have the marriage bond for James YORATH and Margaret GREGORY — do you have it?

Cheers
Koromo

Thanks koromo.  I didn't have the Long and Fare references.  I have the undated details of the James Yorath/Margaret Gregory bond.

I'll look into the Fare connection and see how it all affects what I already have- thanks.
