Hi

I am looking for a christening or parents etc of Ann Ross.  Ann married John Whitmore in Blaby in 1812 and lists herself as born in Wigston in the 1851 census.

If anyone can help i'd be most grateful.

Then the following must be in the frame ? :~

All Saints Parish Church.
Wigston Magna.

Ann. Daughter of Samuel & Elizabeth Ross. Bapt. ….24th. September.

Sorry to make that harder than it should have been!  How silly of me to omit the estimated date of birth!

Can you spot any siblings - i have noted a few possibilities from the various census - Samuel (1788), George (1792) or John (1799)?

I am very grateful.

Can you spot wife Elizabeth's death.  From her marriage to Samuel in Coston in 1783 (Samuel listed as from Wigston) her age is given as 18 with the marriage by licence.  This gives a birth year around 1764/5.  I can see Samuel's death in Wigston in 1836 although cannot spot Elizabeth's, which i therefore assume is before 1813 where my records commence.

Can you spot a likely death for Elizabeth?

Also can you advise me on what resource you are using for the early burials as i can see that it could be useful to me?
