ballyhighland in actually in the parish of Caim. Unfortunately the records for the parish were destroyed in fire.  Looking at templeshambo graveyard might be worth a look - also the old graveyard in killane both RC and COI

From what I can find Caim village is in the civil parish of Monart and would have been in the RC parish of Marshalstown - based on Ryan's

Is this the parish were some records were destroyed ?

Marshalstown is not that near ballyhighland would be much nearer to Killane or Templeshambo. Both Killane and Templeshambo are old graveyards. The townland of Ballyhighland is famous for its mine. Ballyhighland would been part of the Castleboro estate
