1871 Lookup Request
« on: Wednesday 03 August 11 08:47 BST (UK) »
Hi
I should be very happy because someone else seems to have already found the info I was looking for - but when I tried myself to confirm it - I can't find the information.
I refer to Diane 101 posting in 2007.
Diane 101 seems to have found the Guy family living at 33 Frederick Street Middlesex, with all the people I am interested in - particularly Frederick William b c1864.
Can anyone put me on the right track please?
Regards
Celia

Hi Celia,
Welcome to Rootschat, I can t find the family at that address in 1871 although they are at 33, Frederick street  in 1881.
You can send a personal message to Diane 101 once you have made three postings(so reply once more or make another post)
The poster seems to have been active on Rootschat fairly recently, perhaps they have a reference.

Best wishes
 Cathy  :)

Hi and welcome from me too

I think there may have been a typo in that 2007 post as it was asking for an 1871 lookup (which produced nothing) and I think she meant she had them in 1881

Thank-you Cath and Carole
Thank-you very much Cath and Carole for your help and advice.
I went to the address on the 1881 Census as quoted and downloaded the info there so now I have the family which is nice.
It does seem a bit of a cheat because I would not have found them by myself. But I suppose I will get better with time and I will keep on digging.
Thank-you very much again
Celia
