Burial of Eliza THOMAS b1841
« on: Thursday 04 August 11 00:07 BST (UK) »
I am looking for the burial of my 3xgrandmother Eliza Thomas 1841, but can't find one that fits.

I think she died between 1901 and 1911. She is not with her son Nicholas in 1911 or with her daughter Janie who re- married in 1908 and moved to Appledore, Devon.

She lived at higher Tregeseal most of her life with her son Nicholas and daughter Janie Eddy, they are there in 1901 together....her mother Eliza Reynolds and siblings lived next door, the siblings are still there in 1911.

I have seen a death in Registration index in 1907 that might be her, but where was she buried?

The 1907 death seems the likeliest fit - right age and right registration district

Can't help re: burial though

Thank you Carol :)
It's always nice to have someone say they agree with your choice of certificate when the person has an surname like Thomas.

I am wondering if there were any Chapel's in that area where she might be buried..

I will order the certificate first to make sure it is her.

UPDATE.

The 1907 death certificate arrived and it is for her ;D

They have all obviously moved to Penzance as her son Nicholas is the Informant. I am assuming she was buried in the Private Chapel there (St Mary (madron Chapelry) Penzance...the records of burial only go to 1900 at the moment.
