Date and repair if possible

Could anything be done with the attached photo? Would appreciate a date for  it, there is nothing on the back of  the photo and it is also stuck to a thick card.

I think around 1880.

This is an early 1900s photo, around 1900-1905ish. I tried fiddling with the contrast to get a better look at the blouse, but it's washed out....a common effect with early photography when a light-coloured garment would look overexposed. Seen in many christening photos with the baby wrapped in yards of white material.

When posting photos, please crop out the scanner lid as it uses up kilobytes
