Ford family Bucklebury, Berkshire

Hello,
I have an interest in
John Ford 1717-1792, 
Jonathan Ford 15 Nov 1781-11 May 1865
and Jonathan Ford c1832-23 Nov 1867. ( They are father and son)
They were all born in Bucklebury.
I wondered if there were any Church Records for them.
I am a direct descendant and hope to visit the area at a future date.
Also if there is any record of John Ford's parents.
I am researching the possibility of them being Thomas Ford ( C 1695-1765) married to Elizabeth. They were born in Tilehurst and died in Bucklebury.
Any information would be greatfully received.

Hi Margaret

There is a John Ford christened at Tilehurst on 20th November 1716
Parents are Thomas Ford and Elizabeth.

There is a Thomas Ford christened at Tilehurst on 2nd August 1685
his Dad is a William Ford.

There is a William Foord marrying a Hannah Barns on 25th April 1678
at White Waltham, Berks. Dont know if this is the William but he is the
only one I can find at that time in Berkshire.

31 July 1808 Johnathan Ford married Jane Marshall &

22 Oct 1831 Johnathan Ford (wid) married Charlotte Goddard (wid)

no record of a William Ford marring at St Marys B'bury

Hello, I myself am a bit suck on my Ford side of the family.
I only have one name to go by which is Alice Ford who was born c.1646 Longford, Berkshire, England.
She married Thomas Withers.
I have done extensive searches but to no prevail. Has anyone seen these names before?

Presumably she's the Alice Ford who married on 23 Sep 1667 at Great Farringdon, and may be the one who was buried as Alis Withers widow of ffaringdon (sic) on 26th June 1697. The burial record is in Quaker records at Witney.

Just been reading on the 'net'.....  Prints of the Meeting House etc  (Episodes from the History of Quakers in Faringdon during the last 350 Years.

Next to the Year 1683.

An informer, Eustace Hardwick of Shrivenham, came into the meeting for worship in Faringdon and arrested Oliver Sansom, who later recalled being 'on my knees, praying to the Lord'. 
Subsequently Sansom said, 'I and many others became great sufferers for keeping up our religious meetings at Faringdon'. 

Besides Sansom, the Great Book of Sufferings, listed Thomas WITHERS, George Adams, William Green and Edward Lockley, all of Faringdon, as having goods and chattels confiscated for attending meetings for worship.
