They are both mine,  George was a farmer but I didn't know his wife's name, the 1861 has given me this.

I was interested to read you were searching for details of George Knowles and his family.  He is in my tree and I was wondering if you have any information on his parents Charles Knowles and Sarah Winfield who married at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire 31.10.1799.

Sorry I don't have any other info on George Knowles, I was researching my daughter-in-Laws family tree , all the info I collected I have passed it to her.

I have a photograph of John Knowles and his wife and 9 children who resided at Castle Farm, Castle Square Melbourne. The photo looks to be around 1900. He was my Grand father, Percy Smith’s grandfather.
