Hiya Mike,
Thankyou very much for your prompt response

I was just wondering about the church bearing in mind it was Richard`s second marriage.
Just to bring you upto date on the information you previously supplied and the names of the witnesses. A quick search for a christening for Clara Bryan reveals a date of 25.12.1811 at Saddington, (so I am guessing a free christening at St Helens?) with parents listed as John and Mary Bryan.
Elizabeth Bryan appears to be Clara`s younger sister born circa 1810.
Don`t know about John Ward yet.
I didn`t know about Charles Fox until tonight but I had previously wondered why Catherine Fox born in London 1862 ish was a visitor to Richard Banbury on the 1881 census. I traced Charles Fox and Catherine to the 1871 census where I found the family living in Newark. By 1881 Catherine had moved out to "visit" Richard but her Father Charles, Mother Etty, Sisters Elizabeth and Hannah plus Brother John are living at Chestnut Street in Leicester.
I can`t find Chestnut Street on my map but I found Brazil Street and Walnut Street on a modern map near Filbert Street, so I am assuming Chestnut Street could have been in this vicinity ??
Bet you are impressed now Mike

Perhaps catch you later, all the best Steve
