Hello,

I am seeking any information about the parents of Alfred James Andrews, b 1871 in Christchurch.

On Free BMD (NZ) the parents names are not shown.

In 1896, Alfred married Ellen Gatchell in Timaru, and they had 4 children: Ellen (1896), Evelyn (1897), Alfred (1903) and Ethel (1909). Alfred James Andrews died at Timaru in 1921, and his wife, Ellen, died in Christchurch 1935.

Trying to find out where the parents of Alfred James Andrews originated so further research can be done.

All research resources in Christchurch not available because of all the earthquakes, so any help would be much appreciated. Thankyou.

The death certificate mentioned by Janette **should** have parents details, place of birth etc depending on the informant.
