Could someone please try and date this photo

The photo is one of my ancestors and I am not certain which one, if someone could date this please that would be a great help.

Hello, what a lovely photograph.
The high collar is typical of the years we in the U.K. would call "The Edwardian era" ie during the reign of King Edward the seventh, early 1900`s.
The collars were stiffened with stiff strips of probably bone, to stop them from wrinkling -higher at the sides they were shaped to fit the jawline.

I don't have much to add. Viktoria's guess seems dead on to me. The clothes in the photo and the format of the photo itself (the oval on thick card stock) are both very Edwardian, which would place the photo as being in style tentatively from 1900-1910.
