need help again please

I have attempted to restore this myself but this is the best I can do. Still struggling to improve photos to the standard that I would like (particularly when working on faces) but I will continue to practice and hopefully one day.
I am posting original photo and my feeble attempt at restortation. Thank you all again for your amazing skills and valuable hints.

Hello Chris,

I couldn't fathom the background.  They were wearing short sleeves with boots so I guess it could have been warm and sunny but with snow on the ground.

The improvement is wonderful, particularly the faces. This is the area that I have the most problems with. I surmised that they were sitting on one of those stone constructed seats that was painted white. These were common on many of the rural properties in Ireland where the photo was taken. However it could be snow.

GUIDE FOR PHOTO RESTORATIONS PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SCANNER BED IS CLEAN AND SCAN AT A RESOLUTION OF 300-600 WITH THE SCALE AT 100% MINIMUM.

If you would like a coloured version, details such as hair colour , eyes and clothing etc.  if known  would be helpful to restorers
