Look up Reading - WINKWORTH

Please would someone look for Rebecca Winkworth, born Goring, Oxfordshire c1836.

I found her in 1861 at No 133 Friar St, Star and Garter Tavern St Lawrence, Reading.

Wondered if she was in Reading in 1841 and 1851 with her family.

She married John Vigar from Horley Surrey (probably a wheelwright journeyman) sometime between 1861 and 1869, has anyone come across such a marriage?

The next time I find John and Rebecca they are living in Sussex in 1871.

the bad news is
I searched from Jan 1861 to Oct 1869 on 1837.com and found no marriage for Rebecca Winkworth. Sorry.

There is no trace of Rebecca in the 1851 census for Berkshire.

Hi Harry and Libby

Thank you for looking.  I can't find Rebecca before 1861.  Someone else gave me a suggestion that her name was Langridge  not at all sure where they got that idea from but I dare say will try every avenue.

What I meant was, that I posted a reply on 5 May which you replied to - subsequently these two posts have disappeared but you can still find them if you look at the posts for individual members.

Rebecca Winkworth , if that is her real name , married John Vigar at Lower Beeding , Sussex , in 1861 but under a maiden name of Langridge . She came from Soning according to Census records . Others have posted details of their children , but interestingly the eldest John has a second name of Winkworth .
Their third son George was my grandfather .
John died in 1918 and Rebecca in 1915 and are buried in separate , but unmarked , graves in Lower Beeding Church . The church has records
