Lower Goldstone, nr Ash, School
« on: Tuesday 16 August 11 10:24 BST (UK) »
Hi there knowledgeable people

Does anyone have any idea what school my late Mums siblings would have attended from 1902 to 1917, they lived at Lower Goldstone, nr Ash next Sandwich, are there any records about school attendances if so where might they be kept.

Also I would like to try and find the baptism record for her and her brother, does anyone know the name of the parish church they may have attended, the dates in question are from 1905 - 1917

Any help appreciated

Can't really help except that I too had relatives living at lower Goldstone and when they died they were Buried in Ash Church
. I hope to be in Canterbury soon and can check this Church for the bapt records for this time.
Don't know about a school though. The Ash parish council may be able to help.

Sandwich archives have lots of records for the  area. You can email them or ring them up to see if anyone can help you with this.
If you click on the Kent resources section of the Kent board and then go down to libraries and archives you will find the link to their contact details. good luck with your research

There is the Cartwright and Kelsey school in Ash but don't know when it was founded. When I was at Primary School in Sandwich,
a few pupils came from Ash.
Areas: East Kent, Norfolk, Cornwall, Lincolnshire, Sussex, London area.
Australia, Canada
