Top image shows two soldiers in the R.A. second one shows a soldier in the Welch Regiment. Both images would date after 1922.

HI,
I could not dispute what Old Rowley has already told you,but would ask the question why he thinks the photos are after 1922?
In the top Photo the soldiers are wearing the badges of The Royal Artillery both are also wearing Spurs on their Boots and suggest were part of the Mounted part of R.A..This could have been pulling Gun Carriages ,Supplies ,Ammunition ,or Even Water Tenders ,all Horse Drawn.
The reason i say this is that my first wife's Grandfather was in R.A. he valued his Spurs and rode a team of horses delivering Water from a Tanker from one gun emplacement to another,  I believe on the Somme, certainly in France.
Does Old Rowley know when horse drawn vehicles were last used by the armed forces ,I am afraid i don't
          Best Wishes and Good Hunting

The reasoning behind the 1922 date given ( and my apologies as that should have read 1924 in my orginal reply and not 1922) is that the army changed the look of the uniform at that date to a tighter, closer cut and reintroduced the useage of collar dogs at this time.

The R.A. were still using horses in a general sense in the 1930's as my father was stationed at Woolwich in '37/'38 and would talk about leading the horse's around the area whilst on exercise.
