please can you rescan these at a higher resolution with no compression and then repost them on separate threads.

Hello will1890,

I've had a dabble at the first one but it's all very pixelated and would not stand being enlarged.  You should be able to scan such a small picture at about 300 dpi without it going over the 500mb limit.
