Dorothy Georgina WITHERS dob 1899

I am searching for any relatives of my Great grandfather George Withers, Dorothy would have been his 1st cousin and she had a brothers Frank and Frederick, they were all born in South Stoke.

My GGrandad also had stepsisters Ada, Fanny, Emma and Annie Colborn/Colborne and a stepbrother Edwin, I have hit a wall in my research and would be grateful for any help

Have you checked the 1911 census for the family? Have you checked freebmd for marriages/deaths etc

Thanks for your reply Carole,

I'm not looking for living relatives, I just cannot find what happened to her parents and their step siblings the Colbornes, I haved looked everywhere But I must be missing something obvious.

There are so many branches of the Withers family and so many similar christian names, I think I will have to go to Priston and maybe take a look at the parish records.

The Withers family are shown on the free 1911 index living in Bath.

Using the following instructions shows no further children since 1901

You haven't given any details of George (ie) birthyear/birthplace but the 1911 index shows a George Withers aged 4 living in Bath

Freebmd has no marriage between a Withers and a Colborne
