1841 census Isle of Man

Can anyone help me with the following person

James MOORE born 1817 Peel, Isle of Man
Mariner

I am afraid that is all i have on this man,
He was living in Liverpool in 1851 census so i am hoping he will be found at home 1841,
Appreciate any help with this

Looks like your chap was in Toxteth Park, Liverpool, as per the 1851 census

there are two obvious contenders baptised in German (the parish containing Peel) - James youngest child of Thomas Moore + Mary Thompson  (can't find them in 1841 census)  bapt Ger 1817-09-21
or eldest child of James Moore + Ann Cowell bapt Ger 18160407 - can't find those parents in 1841 nor in German burial reg - I can't find a marriage of James + Ann Cowell but there is a marriage (m Ger 18140814) of James Moore + Ann Cowley and the two possible families appear to mesh ok so possibly it was Ann Cowley (Cowell/Cowle + Cowley are both common Manx names)
