Joseph Edward Ward b.c1875
« on: Sunday 28 August 11 15:10 BST (UK) »
Hi,

Not sure if this is correct place for this request hopefully it is.

Please can someone help me locate info on Joseph Edward Ward b.c 1875.He is the father of John Harris Ward b 1906 Claypole Linc's (my O.H's uncle).I have tried to find him on 1981/91& 1901 census but no joy :( :(.

According to the 1911 census Joseph Edward & his wife Louisa (nee Stiff b 1875) were living with their family in Grantham Linc's.Place of birth for Joseph Edward was given as South Bank York's.for Louisa it was given as Friskney Linc's.They were married 29 July 1899 at St James Church Grimsby.(I do not have copy of marriage cert  :-[:-[)
Hope that someone can find Joseph Edward before 1911.

Thanks

Kathy

I've posted the possible 1891. Was Jane in the workhouse in 1881 mirf - if she was, I have found her.

You are more than welcome Kathy, they did seem to get about !  :) :)

I believe they were both in the Union Workhouse in Peterborough in 1881.

Edward Ward, age 6 born Middlesboro .
