....

not sure what details you tried searching already... but this looks like a good match for his birth on the BMD Index :

  Name: Robert Conkie
  Registration district:   Dingle
  Event type: Birth
  Quarter and year: Oct-Dec 1912
  Volume number: 5 / Page : 168

you can use these details to order a research cert to see the full details.

Burnham was the estate of Lord Ventry. In the 1911 Census there is no entry for a Conkie showing in the townland of Burnham East or West or in any part of Kerry that I can find.So it seems Robert's father may have moved there shortly before his birth -perhaps to work on the estate. The estate was sold to the Land Commission inn 1920 and the house became a teacher training college.
Hope this is of some help.

George Conkie was single on the 1911 census and living in Cheshire. It states that he was from Ayrshire.

There is someone doing this tree on ancestry and says that Joan's surname was Borthwick and that she married George in 1912 in Cheshire.

They say that Robert passed in 1940 in France.

So as 'annclare' has said it looks like the family's time in Kerry was shortlived.
