All Saints' Church, Middleton Cheney is famous amongst art historians for having the best collection of William Morris stained glass windows in Britain. Entry is free on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th September 10.00 to 17.00 and Sunday 11th September 12.30-17.00. There will be entertaining free guided tours. A real treat will be on Saturday between 4.00-5.00 when the village archivist Nancy Long will be conducting a tour explaining about the Victorian villagers who paid for the installation of the stunning windows.  Discover All Saints' connections with smallpox, an opera by Gilbert & Sullivan, and Lord Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Boy Scouts Movement. Refreshments will be available, bring your binoculars in order to see details of the windows in all their glory! Some associated names, Horton, Buckley, Croome, Brickwell ..............
