hi ,
she lived in Dewsbury west yorkshire in about 1946 and worked as an auxillary nurse at morlands maternity hospital in Dewsbury.

I have been looking for this for my wifes uncle. He now tells me fernandes was her maiden name . Her married name was meartens and she probably travelled under that name!
