Monaghan- Morton - Quinn marriage Competed
« on: Sunday 04 September 11 09:34 BST (UK) »
I am looking for a marriage for Thomas Morton and Sarah Quinn, I found them in Montrose Angus on the 1851 census, their children all born in Monaghan, from about 1824.

Thomas son of Robert Morton Farmer and Agnes Burns/Barns, and Sarah daughter of David Quinn Farmer  and Helen McClure.

Thomas worked in the linen trade then a broker.

Many thanks , hope someone can help

The informtion you are looking for is well before the start of civil registration. Have a look at Introduction to Irish Records and My Ancestor came from Ireland - where do I start?.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!
