I was wondering if anyone knew how I could find the records of my G Grandfather Johan Wilhelm Bartsch, He was German who was naturalized in Great Britain in 1854 so he could accept the sailors bounty. He was in the Royal Navy in about 1854 and in the Crimean War and then in the Merchant Navy in India about 1857. This information was taken from his application for naturalization in Australia in 1907. I hope someone may be able to help.
