Looking up an Essex will?
« on: Friday 09 September 11 10:41 BST (UK) »
I'm not sure how to go about this, but here is a will listed on SEAX that I would like to see or get details of. But I am not in the UK and I don't know if they can copy and send by post or online- I've written to ask but not heard back as yet).

Does anyone know if it's possible to order copies from them or, is it possible for anyone to look at it for me and note down the details?

Just in case that is possible, the details are:

Will of Joseph Collin, senior of Quendon, Wheelwright

Level: Category    Archdeaconry records
Level: Fonds    COMMISSARY OF BISHOP OF LONDON
Level: Sub-Fonds    WILLS

Dates of Creation   4 November 1802
Title   [Will of Joseph Collin, senior of QUENDON, WHEELWRIGHT]

Many thanks

James

If you email the Essex Record Office at ero.searchroom[at][/blue]essex.gov.uk they can send you a Photocopy Order form as an attachment for you to complete requesting a copy of the document; this will then be posted to you.
