Was he a sailor? Might help narrow down places he's likely to have lived if we know more about him.

If it is Karlskrona he came from, there are several churches/Kyrka's in the area which might be of use. There is the Admiralty church which,  as the name suggests, has historical connections to the Swedish Navy. But the one on the town square, Fredrikskyrkan (lovely place), might be worth contacting as a starting point.

Fredrikskyrkan, Amiralitetstorget 27, 371 31 Karlskrona, Sweden

Looking again at the certificate, under microscope, and comparing the hand writing with the two other certificates on the A3 page, the second name is Krole, not Knole. They married in an Anglican Church, he was a Labourer, his father is also recorded as a Labourer. The girl he married was Irish, and although she signed her name, her handwriting is quite poor, his on the other hand is firm and confidant. Thank you all for your suggestions, I'll keep you informed.

Only one letter out then for Karlskrona?
