Alabaster & Franklyn in Romford

I have a death cert for John Franklyn in 1904. His address was Moores Place, Romford.  The informant was Clara Alabaster, daughter, of Mawyneys Lane, Romford.

I have found 2 Clara Alabasters on the 1901 census - one was the wife of Richard Alabaster, however I have found that her maiden name was Ryan.

The other is the wife of William Alabaster.  They are living in Rettenden, Essex. She is 27, he is 33.

In the 1911 census this couple are at Ray Square, High St, Romford.  They have been married for 12 years.

My problem is that I cannot find a marriage for this couple.  Clara's surname may have been Franklin, Franklyn, Dickerson or even Freestone (this is a very complicated family).

Can anyone else out there find something I have missed?

I know this is random, but when I was a little girl 1953 I remember Miss Albaster, serving me in her sweet shop in Marks Road, she was very grumpy lol

Have you any previous census for John Franklyn, I notice he was 58 upon death, there fore D of B would be circa 1843, do you know where he was born?

A Clara Alabaster b 1876 died Rochford 1937.  This is probably the Clara married to Richard.  The Clara married to William was b 1872

Have you traced your John Franklyn on the 1881 census?  Did he have a daughter Clara born 1872-1876?

Did you notice that Clara's birthplace is different in 1901 to 1911?

Looks as if the place of birth differs, if I am looking at the right one

1901 says Edgware Road which is Paddington

If as stated on 1901 and she is the same person, born Edgware Road then I assume she would have been registered there

only 2 shown as London registrations

No marriage found so far

I've found this marriage - her surname is slightly out from one of the options, but just wondering if it's a possibility?

www.yorkshirebmd.org.uk shows the 1915 marriage was at Hunmanby, All Saints, Scarborough
