Im desperate for details of a birth certificate for Richard Smith born Ranton 1793 or his marriage certificate to Mary Dunn  born Chebsey(1806) the marriage being  in July 1828 at Eccleshall.

I would appreciate and help.

Hi kevkj:  May I suggest that you start a new thread with your request for the Richard Smith information.  Unfortunately you will not find a birth certificate or marriage certificate (civil registration did not start until 1 July 1837) but you may be lucky and find a baptism in Ranton. and the marriage entry in the parish records.  I'm going on holiday tomorrow, and will be unable to get to the Archives until the beginning of October.  So suggest you put in a separate post.
