Identification on Cameron Highlander Uniform and Rank
« on: Saturday 17 September 11 09:37 BST (UK) »
Hi There,

Do you have any idea who would be able to help me identify the uniforms of the two soldiers attached.  I have three great Uncles who were killled in WW1.  Noel Cameron, George Cameron and Donald Cameron. I have found the Grave stone in Glasgow for them on the Scottish Wargraves and  Details of them are below. I have written to sevaral places and been to Fort George to see if I could find the original army records on these soldiers to match the photos to the names. Do you know if the national Archives in London hold these records and photos? In the meantime I have attached two photos. I think the first one is Noel Cameron who was a seargent but woudl like to confirm. The second picture the soldier is also holding a cane but the two other brothers were privates? So I don't know if this picture is Geoarge or Donald. Can you help.
