Stubbs of Alvingham
« on: Monday 26 September 11 12:38 BST (UK) »
Hi,

In White's Linconshire Directory of 1856 there is a Christopher Stubbs, farmer, listed under Alvingham. Around the 1890s someone in my family has marked this and I'm trying to find out how he fits into the family tree - if indeed he does.

So is it possible to find him in a census, parish records etc? Any information would be welcome.

Thank-you
Brie

Hi Tom,

Thanks for this. We can't see a connection at the moment but we are busy looking through what we have. I think the connection may be a generation further back.
